Week 8, might be a little fib, I cannot remember if we are up to week 8 or even later. It seems like forever!

So many little things have changed since we moved into our dream home, it is a slow process as we try to continue fulfilling the dreams of others along the way, however each day a little improvement is made. Next week we hope to take a little ‘holiday’ at home and just enjoy our beauty, before continuing on the same road.

We received the most stunning house warming gift, delivered by my Father, a gift from my step Mother. This tapestry was created by her Mother, and now has pride of place in our home.

There has been a little time for faffing.

The boys have been hard at work and the outside of the house only requires painting now.

The children finally have a TV space to call their own, it’s a little ugly, but, it’s effective.

We have begun the enormous task of painting the library, and already the lift to the room with a little slapped on undercoat, is amazing.

We had our Freedom Screens installed, and have been able to totally open up space that were not able to be used before.

Some parts of the house, we have been able to do nothing but give a good clean. This kids bathroom, is not pleasant, however it is functional. Its refurb is a little way down the list of things to be done.

Other parts of the house, we are able to just enjoy.

Now that most of the ‘big’ pieces of the renovation are complete, it is the little things that are bringing us so much joy. The house is starting to feel loved, and lived in. It is such a comfortable home.
