My Very First Live Presentation Masters Love Your Home

My Very First Live Presentation Masters Love Your Home

Last Thursday arrived after a long and sleepless night, it had been years since my last real public speaking event, and I was feeling really nervous. I busied myself during the day as much as possible, until around 2pm when the real nerves kicked in. That was a tough few hours while waiting for the presentation to begin. By the time 7pm rolled around, my nerves had strangely gone and I was feeling like my old self again.

I am thrilled to have been joined by 35 wonderful people who were ready to learn about and love their home. As everyone arrived, my co-hosts Nikki and Angela and I were able to hand over a goodie bag kindly donated by Masters. Once all our guests had arrived, I had the task of introducing the three of us, and then taking everyone on a shopping store tour.

It was my aim to ensure that all the women who attended felt confident in being able to shop at Masters in the future. I shared my hints and tips, as well as pointing out a few great services that Masters offers. We were joined by some tool experts who were put to the test by our attendees, as they tried to decipher what the few mystery tools were.

After the store tour had finished, I handed over to Nikki, who helped 6 of our attendees create their very own Garden Moss Ball. If you are interested in creating your own Garden Moss Ball follow this link to Nikki’s blog for instructions.

Once Nikki’s demonstration was over, Angela talked us through her outdoor room, created using only products found at Masters, also answering some basic interior design questions along the way. The room Angela created was nothing short of amazing.

All in all, it was a very successful evening with requests from attendees and Masters for us to return and give another presentation as soon as we are ready.

I’d like to say a really big thank you to my co-hosts Nikki and Angela for joining me on our very first live presentation, and an even bigger thank you to our attendees who not only came along, but joined in the fun as well. My last thank you is to Yvonne and her team at Masters Bundamba, for the opportunity and the support. Their goodie bags were gratefully received, and I am sure everyone enjoyed their nibbles as well. Thank you.

Would you like to come to our next live presentation? Any subjects you would like us to touch on? Any DIY projects you’d like to be shown how to do?

  7. A big thank you to all of you ladies for putting on such a great night, I really enjoyed it apart from the crazy storm we drove through on the way home! I’d love to learn more about how to hang pictures on the wall, essential tools for around the home etc.

    1. Great feedback Lauren, thank you. Hanging pictures on the wall is right up the top of my list, along with a few other easy maintenance jobs for around the home. The idea of the tools is what I originally thought I would do today, but I went with the shopping tour idea for the first one. I love the direction you are thinking, thank you for coming, we loved having you there. xx

  8. I LOVE the room she’s created… I have a deck I rarely use at the moment as it’s just not a comfy living space.

The greenery is great as there’s a sense of privacy and lushness.

  9. Well done, brilliant idea Nicole!

  10. Oh good on you! I find public speaking a little terrifying, so I really admire you doing that.
It looks like it was a great evening.

  11. You three are a dream team. I knew you’d ace it, and your wonderful wrap up of the night has eased my FOMO considerably. My suggestion is how about a Masters On Tour in Sydney? I hate missing out!
