My First Homewares Pop Up Shop

My First Homewares Pop Up Shop

Regular readers will remember that a few weeks back, I mentioned I would be hosting my first ever pop up shop!! I’ve been selling homewares in my blog shop for about 2 years now, but I had neglected that space. When my good friend Kirsten contacted me and asked if I would like to join 7 other local business women at her Bettyqutte Pop Up Extravaganza, I didn’t hesitate!! So with excitement, I ordered new stock and got to work.

There is something quite amazing about the energy that is in the room when supportive businesswomen unite. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Kirsten on several projects, all of which, just like Saturday, are incredibly professionally organised and fun to be involved in.

This was reflected in the 7 women who collaborated with Kirsten, such gorgeous soles to spend time with.

Even more excitedly, the 60 women who attended the event, were equally kind, generous people, who shopped up a storm, after Kirsten’s beauty workshop.

The day was captured by Kate Luke Photography, and includes a few sneak peeks from the new shop lines, all which are available today!!

While it is a lot more work than I imagined, packing up your shop and travelling to a new location, the Bettyquette Pop Up Extravanganza gave me the opportunity to pop my cherry and see how the shop can travel.

Given that this was my maiden pop up shop event, I had discounted everything on the day. It seems only fair that as a reader, you have the opportunity to enjoy that special discount too and so until Sunday 24th at 6 pm you too can have 20% off all stock by simply entering the code 20OFF

While I don’t have another pop-up shop planned until next year, with the code, you can experience all the fun and I’ll even throw in a special gift for any purchases made before Sunday night 6 pm.

If you were one of the lovely ladies I met on the day, thank you so much for your generous spirits, and a massive thank you to Kirsten, for always supporting not only my business but many small businesses. It is leaders like Kirsten who keeps us all motivated and supported.

Have you shopped locally lately? Started your Christmas shopping yet?
