Tell us a little about yourself?
Hi, I’m Sam. I live in a country home on the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne with my husband and three boys. We have a couple of Jack Russell doggies called Charlie and Snoopy. A sheep called Mary and a goat called Isabella along with some chickens and geese.
I really love creating and making a beautiful home and garden whether I am using a vintage side table I have found or a beautiful new cushion.

Tell us about your favourite space?

My favourite spaces are my living room and my garden. It’s a good size room with oversized sofas and a day bed, and of course lots of cushions. A tall white bookcase and a fireplace.

What is it about this space that makes it your favourite space?

I love this space because its really where we all gather, the sun streams in through the side windows that are either side of the fireplace, and changes with all the seasons.
After a long summer I do look forward to winter so I can use my fireplace.

What are your favourite items in this space?
I have a few really favourite items. My collection of Sprout Gallery pictures. My blue and white Gilles and Franck cushions, which are mixed in with various other cushions I have acquired over the years.

How does this space make you feel?

This space makes me feel relaxed and happy. We also have French doors that open out onto the entertaining area. I love the 10 foot ceilings. My living room is always evolving and changing with various new pieces I love to add.
