I bang on a little bit about how much I love Instagram, I have ‘met’ some wonderful friends there and am constantly inspired by what they do with their homes! This week and for the next few weeks, I will be bringing you my very favourite Instagramers with a little look into their Favourite Spaces.

This week we begin with Janet from @myhumblehome I am sure you all know by now, that I am a massive fan of Hamptons Style interiors, throw in the cutest of puppies, and I’m hooked. Janet has a wonderful eye for style, that is reflected perfectly in the images she chooses to share. I hope you enjoy this insight into @myhumblehome!

Tell us a little about yourself?

I work part time as a receptionist and I am also currently studying a BA in Mass Communications. I live in WA,

I am happily married and we have two fur-babies; Rowdy the lab and Salem the black cat.

Tell us about your favourite space?

That’s a hard one but I would have to say my kitchen.

What is it about this space that makes it your favourite space?

It’s simple, white and bright. It is a space that hubby and I gather after a long, working day to cook, catch up as well as unwind. It is also a space where visitors gather and chat over coffee too!

It is a very social part of my home.

What are your favourite items in this space?

Undoubtedly my SMEG kettle, and coffee. I cannot start the day without a coffee.

How does this space make you feel?

I feel happy and at calm in this space, when it is clean of course! Sounds funny I know.

The sun shines through in the afternoon and it is so peaceful and warming.
