Tell us about your favourite space?
My favourite space is our back room. It used to be our oldest son’s bedroom and when he moved out we turned it into a little sitting room. We do not have an open space home and like having little nooks to hide away in. This room has the best light in the house and looks into the back yard.
What is it about this space that makes it your favourite space?
The light and all of the things I have around me in there, it is like a little snug.
What are your favourite items in this space?
I have a lot of my collections in this room – my spoons made by local artists, collected leaves, feathers, flowers and pine cones etc from nature, as well as the Woods wallpaper by Cole and Sons – and our found budgie Mavis who flew into our backyard one day, who lives out there!
I absolutely LOVE Helen’s space and it has me thinking about what I can do when our eldest moves out of her room next year.
