If you haven’t yet met Kirsty, you simply must. A gorgeous Mummy, PE Teacher and Stylist as well. I first met Kirsty around this time last year, when I booked a styling session with her. I was so nervous and didn’t know what to expect, Kirsty changed all that only moments into our meeting. I had a great day out, relaxing and so informative. Today I’ve asked Kirsty to step away from her styling duties and share her favourite space. Enjoy!
Tell us a little about yourself?
I’m a mumma to two fun loving, wild, crazy, soccer addicted boys and a wife, personal fashion stylist, wannabe emcee, fashion blogger and occasional PE teacher. I love to be busy and with launching my styling business, Kirsty Ashe Style earlier this year, life has become CRAZY! I am so passionate about making mumma’s feel incredible about themselves and have such an intense love of fashion that I guess it was only a matter of time before my world collided and I took the leap into fashion and styling. Outside fashion and styling I’m an #offdutystyle, beach loving, spinach eating, red wine/champagne drinking, harem pant kind of girl. We holiday at the beach every xmas and I grew up with my parents making the trip to the coast every Sunday for 7 months of the year for nippers. The beach is where I go to regroup, relax and remind myself of the important things in life.
Tell us about your favourite space?
It took me a little while to finally decide on my favorite space as I’m a Pisces and often find myself dreaming of gorgeous spaces I’ve been in especially when we travelled the world in 2006. Apart from my big spacious bedroom at home which right now is littered with clean washing begging to be put away, my favorite space would be Kings Beach Caloundra.
What is it about this space that makes it your favourite space?
I love this space because we have made it our yearly holiday destination. It is almost a sleepy old town filled with little hidden treasures. A new foodie culture is beginning to take over and we’ve found some delicious treasures over the last few years. We stay just 100m stroll from the beach and everyday we hit the beach at least twice as a little family. Nothing feels better then the ocean early morning!
What are your favourite items in this space?
The ocean, the sand, the parks and the best fish and chip shop you’ll even find! Plus it usually is just the four of us for two weeks- BLISS! #untilthekidsstartkillingeachother
I took the boys to the new Paleo Café and clearly they took some convincing but I LOVED IT!
How does this space make you feel?
Kings Beach makes me feel relaxed, calm and very thankful. I could never imagine living somewhere where the beach wasn’t an option. My boys love it and it really is the only place I can tire them out and have them in bed by 7:30pm without whining!

What a gorgeous spot. I’ve been to the Sunshine Coast a few times but never made it to Caloundra. Looking at all those beautiful photos makes me wish I lived near the beach!

This a different take on a favourite space and I like it! I haven’t been to Caloundra for a long while. We tend to head to Coolangatta on the GC usually.
Me too Bec, Kirsty is very clever! I love Caloundra, but really haven’t been since I was a child.
