We have explored so many different decorating styles on the blog, however this week I wanted to share the three I think I combine to make my own. My own home is decorated in it’s mash up of my three favourite styles. I have taken bits and pieces of each to suit our needs and the style of architecture in the home. While eclectic, it works for us.
Three Of The Best Decorating Styles
Hamptons Style
For me, Hamptons Style is right up the very tippy top of my love list! I mean what is there to fault? Warm and inviting, while being classic and stylish with a fresh twist. Oh it’s just delightful.

We’d love you to join in. xxx
Charlene of Teacher by trade, Mother by Nature, shared her linen cupboard makeover. She has been ever so busy decluttering her home. The results are amazing.
If you are into renovating or building like I am, then this post from Tash, Marble and Mint, naming her Favourite women from property is one not to miss.
Want to know how to make this super cute cardboard box house? Then pop on over to Honey and Bean to find out more.
Hope to be featuring your post next week.

We were both thinking very similarly on posts this week for HIT. I can see all three styles working in your home and can definitely see that they’ve been inspiration in the way you’ve styled your house. I love the pockets of your home that you share. x
Thank you. I love your home also, especially when the girls have been causing trouble ? Love that we were both so similar this week ?
Gosh they’re all stunning, I honestly can’t pick which one I like the most. Hopefully one day I will have enough money to fully deck out my home to look like that!
Me too!! I would love the budget to do a full makeover of our whole home, especially once it’s all extended. Fingers crossed xx
These are my favourite decorating styles too! I can see how you can make these three work as an eclectic style, they are very complementary. Now, if only I would actually decorate my house in any style, currently it’s eclectic in a non-stylish but family friendly way. Maybe once I’ve got an empty nest?
Totally! I can’t wait for the empty nest (said a little tongue in cheek) just for the clean and tidy house, without one hundred tissues, or lego or books strewn all over the place. ?
Thanks for the feature. I love the French Provincial style, however I think it’s because my daughter has a Parisian themed bedroom. I don’t really have a style…but I do like the look of all of these!
We have a bit of this here and a bit of that there, nothing wrong with blending to suit your families lifestyle. xx
Great post, cool styling ideas!
