I have fallen, and fallen hard for mud rooms. The organisation that a mud room brings to a home, makes my heart sing. While I haven’t found a way to incorporate one here at Pen Y Llechwedd, that wont stop me from dream and scheming about them. How knows, a client in the near future may require one, and I’ll have all the inspiration at my finger tips ?

This mud room in the home of Sonja @Jshomedesign as featured by Home Bunch is classically stunning. The tiles are divine and cubby holes send my organisational heart into a flutter.
This mud room belonging to Melinda Hawkes, who if you are not following on Instagram you totally need to be, is stunning and functional. I adore the idea of having a bathing area for the dogs!

Mud rooms do not need to be an entire room, they can be placed in any convenient space within your home, for example the laundry like this one.
Baskets and draws to hide stuff, gorgeous hooks and shelves for storage. Love!!
