Inspired Space-Veranda Styling

Inspired Space-Veranda Styling

This weekend saw an opportunity for us to visit some of the ‘Great Houses of Ipswich’. Regretfully, we only had time to visit one house, but what a beauty she was. ‘Lakemba’ sits proudly on the top of Denmark Hill in Ipswich, the views are carried all the way to Brisbane CBD, absolutely spectacular! My favourite part of this home, were the way the owners used their decks. We have the same front and side decks here, but have not considered how to decorate them until now. Much of my Mother’s Day was spent dreaming how I will now decorate my verandas, here is a little of my inspiration.

Little touches of old and new.

Do you have a deck at home? Do you use it often?

  1. Wow what stunning outdoor areas.:)

  2. This is so what I love about Queenslanders, the decks! We are heading up to North Queensland house hunting this weekend and I so hope we end up with a Queenslander with a big deck. Gorgeous pictures, thank you for sharing
