We finally found a dining table, we searched high and low for months before we found what would work for us. We needed one the right size, the right shape, and with the chairs we wanted. The table arrived on the weekend and the chairs will be here this afternoon. I can’t wait to show you and see what you think, but in the meantime, it’s time to start thinking about styling the table.
The table is large, 2.1m long and 1.2m wide, it will comfortably seat 8, however we could add another 2 when needed. When everyone is home, there are 7 of us, so this works perfectly not only for our family but also the room. Half the time, we will only use 4 seats at the table, so decorating will need to adapt to our changing family.
My love of candles and flowers is likely to show up here.
I might be becoming obsessed with trays!
