It’s all things bedroom this week while we try and decide on which furniture to choose. We were able to finally get some paint on the walls in there yesterday, so we now have a better idea of the space we are working with. It is amazing to see the difference paint makes to a room, this lighter colour opened the room right up, it also made the cream that is the current ceiling colour look so dirty.

I can’t wait to get the ceilings painted. I am so impatient. We are trying for a stately, romantic feel to the bedroom. Nothing to frilly or over the top, clean lines, with class and strength, whilst remaining romantic. Big brief for the designer, but Lena is nailing it!. We are looking for something like this…

I haven’t yet found a picture that matches what is in my head, just a collection of bits I like from here and there. I simply cannot wait to share with you the finished product.
