I’ve been in the unique position to have built a house both as a client and as a wife of a builder, and I can tell you that each comes with its on set of challenges. But the challenges I found as the client, were all based around the fear of the unknown. Both building or renovating can create a lot of stress.

I was afraid of budget blow outs, I was concerned about the timing of the project, I had no idea if the builder could do the job. It was a very stressful time for me, that I have since learned didn’t need to be quite so stressful.

As I have become educated around the process of building and renovating a home, my fear of the unknown has gone, and while sure, there is still some stress involved, being educated and sure about what to expect from the builder, has completely changed the process for me.

So much so, that now I am confident that I could build a home with any builder and avoid the pitfalls and costly errors that can arise.

Now I want to share that knowledge with you. Over the last 6 months I’ve been working to create a course to give you the opportunity to be fully educated in the process of building your home. We cover finding the right builder for you, your contracts and what you need to know, knowing what to expect to be completed prior to paying a progress claim, conflict resolution and everything in between.

So often issues come about due to a lack of understanding of the process, and therefor choosing the wrong builder for you and while we’d all like to rely on our builder to ensure that they are right for our project, that simply doesn’t always happen. So why risk it?!

With our Inside The Build course, you’ll be given all the tools you need to ensure that you are fully prepared for your new build or renovation. It will step you through all the processes that you need to be well informed on, as well as providing you with all the templates and checklists you need to get it right.

This is a self paced course, that you can access from your phone or computer, through a portal on the website. We also offer membership to our private Facebook group, where you will have access to me right throughout your build. Think of it as your insurance policy, to help ensure you get your build or renovation right.
