I’ve had a lot of fun lately bringing you all sorts of decorating posts to help you around your home. We’ve spoken about styling a coffee table, the entry and how to create a vignette. All styling has a similar philosophy, much like building a vignette, layering is the key. This weeks post is not exception, styling a bedside table is no different to styling a coffee table.
Style Tips for Styling your Bedside Table
Keep your beside table clear of clutter.
Introduce a little luxury in the form of a fresh bunch of flowers of a beautiful candle. Your little bit of calm in your busy day.
Use tall lamps and artwork to create height and interest. If you like to accumulate stuff, be sure to choose a bedside table with draws, to hide it all away.
Or a few beautiful books to give some height.
Keep a little dish handy to pop in your jewelry at the end of the day.
Being a mummy to 5 kids, there isn’t much of my home that gets to be mine, my bedside table is the one exception to this for me. I like to keep it clear, clutter free, with a gorgeous smelling candle and an orchid given to me by a friend. If ever it get’s messy, I find I feel messy in my day. That little bit of space is mine and has a large impact on how I feel each day.
On a similar theme last week, Ashlea from Glamour Coastal Living shared her tips for creating a relaxing bedroom.
And what a gorgeous space it is! Speaking of gorgeous, Sarah from TOMFO shared her new hallway and how she decorated her walls.
I can’t wait to see more of her gorgeous new home.

Thanks so much for the inspiration! This morning while I was making my bed I had a sorry look at my bedside table, it had one notebook and a few clothing tags sitting on it from some new outfits I bought…definitely needs a spruce up!
Ha ha, that’s exactly what mine used to look like xx
All so pretty. Unfortunately my bedside table is one of the messiest parts of my house. So many odd things on it, mostly baby related.
Mine was like that for many years when the kids were smaller, now that they don’t require so much ‘stuff’, I can keep it clutter free xx
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share my blog posts. Hope you enjoy them.
That’s my pleasure Jenny. xx

My bedside table always gets loaded with books I want to read. I have good intentions but usually fall asleep before I open a page! Love these tips. I agree that a neat bedside can help your mind and set you up for a good day. C
It’s and easy landing space. xx
Thanks lovely lady for sharing my new hallway, sorry I missed #HIT this week.
Those hydrangeas get me every time, love them.
Oh please don’t be sorry, nothing for you to worry about. xx
