A Very Special Day

Last Friday, my youngest has his graduation dinner at school. It was a wonderful night that our Pen Y Llechwedd played a big part in. It was lovely to get ready for such a big event in our lives, here in her embrace. Usually when getting ready for just about any event, we are all rushing around bumping into one another, getting stressed, but not this time. There is a gentle and warm energy here that seems to hold us all when we need it most.

My Son wanted to give the girl he was dancing with, some flowers, as he had seen it happen for his older sister at her high school formal. Unfortunately, he forgot to give me this information until a couple of days before. I didn’t think that I would be able to organise anything at all, but promised to try. We have a local florist here, who does some of the most amazing work. She has such a talent, and I love to share in her pictures on Instagram. Roberta, from Green and Bloom, came to our rescue and provided the most amazing posy of flowers.

Just stunning! If you ever have the need for flowers for an event, I cannot speak highly enough of Green and Bloom.

After graduation, we had some of my Sons friends around for a celebratory toast, and good fun. Pen Y Llechwedd comes into her own element when we are entertaining, with her big beautiful deck in the trees. It’s a lovely place to sit and enjoy good company.

We feel so blessed to be begin sharing our life’s milestone achievements with our home. We have started to build wonderful memories that will always be tied to Pen Y Llechwedd, so no matter where we all end up on our journeys, we will always have these memories to hold tight.

Does your home add to your special memories in a happy way? Do you have any you would like to share?
