Garden Lighting is a necessary feature living in Queensland, especially during the summer months where most of our entertaining is done outside. Now that the weather is cooling down, we tend to spend less time outdoors in the garden after dark. But it is the perfect time to install some garden lighting to make it a more pleasing and inviting space. We already have some backyard lighting, but here are some other ideas that I love the look of.

I love this rope lighting. It can be put along any garden bed, path, or retaining wall, making a focal point in the garden.

Rope lighting can also be attached under the railing on your Deck to create a warm ambient glow in your outdoor area. I love the idea of having non intrusive lighting in outdoor space.

I love the uniqueness and simplicity of these. Simply attach a string of fairy lights around a hoop for a feature in any outdoor space.

Pot plants can look like a great feature during the day. These lights certainly make them a night time feature as well.

This tree has been made a stand out feature in the garden simply by the use of lighting. We have a few large trees we could illuminate in our garden.
