A fabulous new opportunity has opened for us at Pen Y Llechwedd, a new and exciting adventure, that whilst I am apprehensive about, I am ready to take on the challenge. With absolutely no interior decorating experience, I will now be attempting to decorate our home. I am the least experienced decorator you will find online, I have no idea about colours, shapes, or spaces, I have no doubt I will provide many opportunities to share a laugh at my own expense, but I do look forward to getting to the end of our job and saying we did it ourselves.
It’s an exciting new direction, that has had my Pinterest searching going into overload! Even Adam has gotten into the swing of things, taking time to look over Pinterest himself and point out his favourites. Here is some of what has got us excited…
Jane Lockheart Interior Design
Whilst we are sad that the relationship with our former interior designer has changed, we are ever so grateful for the hours and hours of work she put into choosing our paint colour, organising a bedhead to be made, fabric showings and quotes for furniture and window furnishings. We will never be able to do a job as great as I am sure Lena would have done, and we wish her the very best of luck with her fledgling business. May she have all the success she deserves.
I look forward to sharing with you, my failures and my successes, regardless of how our job turns out, I will know that we did it with the right intentions.
