Fernbrooke Homes – An Update

Fernbrooke Homes – An Update

In the last few weeks we have finalised just about all the jobs we have been working on and have started with the site safety and set up of another 3 new jobs. We are about to start working on a new build at Haigslea, a new build at Camira and a large renovation and extension at Graceville. To finish off though, here are a few pictures of the jobs we have completed.

Ashgrove
We did a small extension at Ashgrove, adding a laundry and a bathroom. This one proved to be quite the inspiration, as the owner has installed a wine fridge in the laundry space. I may have just gone out and purchased one for our own new laundry 🙂

Corinda
This job at Corinda has changed the way the clients are able to live in their space. Such foresight was shown by both the owner and our architect to ensure that this renovation will maximise the living space available in the home, while creating zones for the children and adults alike. I’m really excited by this one, and how the flow of the home has changed. Look out for professional photos in the months to come.

The client brief on the exterior of the home was to introduce a little of the classic hamptons style. This we did by introducing the paneling around the entry posts, and echoing the same feature on the posts on the carport. The owners will be adding a pendant light once the exterior of the home is painted.

A functional deck was added, along with bi-fold doors to really create a large flowing space from inside out and outside in.

While we are finished at this job, the painting still needs to be finalised. We added a top floor extension, that contains a master bedroom, ensuite and walk in robe. A fantastic use of space for this home. Mid way through the renovation the owner had a light bulb moment that saw us extending the dining area into a void left by the top floor extension. Such a clever decision has seen the dining space expand to a much more useable space.

Yamanto
Not all our clients are happy to have their renovations photographed, and our client at Yamanto preferred us not to. We completed a kitchen, bathroom and ensuite renovation for this family, who are very happy with the results.

Rosalie Medical Centre
This was a small commercial job that had us creating several spaces out of one large space. We were able to get in and out on this one in a few short weeks.
That is where we are at for the minute. We have had the boys working with us at home to help us push the ensuite, laundry and front stair renovations through as quickly as possible. Now that our new jobs are starting, we will need all hands on deck for those. It was a good opportunity to ‘pinch’ the boys for my own selfish needs while I could  🙂

Have you done a renovation recently?  What is your favourite part about the transformation?
