My Favourite Space with Linda Sanchez

My Favourite Space with Linda Sanchez

This week’s share on My Favourite Space is from a like minded lover of blue and white ceramics – Linda Sanchez. I’m sure you’ll agree she has created a gorgeous space in her living room. Enjoy!

Hi, my name is Linda and I live in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs with my husband, three boys and a Schnoodle called Logan.

I have had a few careers, but have found my calling decorating interiors and styling homes through my business LindaSan Interiors. We have recently purchased our (almost!) dream home, and are currently renovating it in Coastal Hamptons style. Currently I am juggling the installation of a new kitchen, laundry and pool house! I am loving having a place where I can finally put into practice my decorating ideas and plans. I also love travelling, reading, and champagne! (All at once is even better!)

I have just finished decorating and updating our living room and it is definitely my favourite space in the house. This is where the family comes together to watch TV, read or just chat. The large coffee table is great for card games too!

My Favourite Space
We are lucky enough to have bushland and a creek we can access right behind our house. So, I have arranged all the seating in this room so that we can sit and enjoy the view. It also contains most of my blue and white ceramic collection. Down the track I plan to install built-in book cases and storage, then I can buy more! This space also opens out to a upstairs terrace that further enhances the bush vista.

A lot of my favourite items are in this room. I love lounging on my window seat, which is covered in blue and white cushions, of course!

My favourite display table is a cane and bamboo one which was a bargain at an Op shop.

My most treasured piece in this room is a small painting I found at a market in Bali. I just love all the green tones, it reminds me of a special holiday spent there.

This space makes me feel instantly calm and relaxed. Everyone comments on the lovely view and I have to be careful not to while away too much time staring out at it!

If you’d love to see more of Linda’s decorating style, you can find her on Instagram or Contact her.

Do you have a favourite painting that has a meaning or holds special memories for you?
