It’s that time of year when we bring out our weird and wonderful Christmas tree, or usually do. This year we might do something a little different. Our final Christmas in Pen Y Llechwedd will be the best one yet. In line with our Christmas theme, and getting all excited and ready to decorate, let’s take a look at some Christmas Tree inspiration.
Christmas Trees – Inspired Space
As you may have seen in previous years, our tree has no theme at all, in fact it’s just a mix up of our kids home made decorations and a few from the shops. It’s a little crazy, but it works well for us.
This year we have the option to do something a little different, so I’ve been Pinterest lusting over the many themes I see. I’ve never had a perfect tree, this year may be the first time for it!
I have always wanted a white Christmas Tree, and this example from Craftberry Bush is absolutely stunning! In fact her entire Christmas home tour is definitely worth checking out.
Traditional green Christmas trees are always popular and this one by Live, Laugh, Rowe, decorated simply is stunning. I am a fan of the tree speaking for itself.
Speaking of simplicity, how perfectly simple is this tree with nothing but a small string of lights by The MerryThought.
Colourfull trees are still are favourite with my kids, this tree via Poppy Talk, is fun and beautiful, while we are at it, how about this room!!
There is always the option of a black tree? This tree from Treetopia could make a stunning addition to the right home.
The one style of tree I have never had is a real, fresh tree. I am told they smell amazing and we won’t go back once we’ve had one.
There is a place for every style of tree, and we must all choose what works best for our family. We have tried a few, but love our kooky different tree, it wouldn’t be Christmas without it.
What style of tree do you have? Have you had a fresh, real tree?

I have never met a Christmas tree I didn’t like! When I was little we used to have a gold tinsel tree and I thought it was the best thing ever! We have a white tree now and although it’s on it’s last legs, if we do get a new one, it would have to be white. I think Christmas trees are just magic and love seeing how other people decorate theirs. Can’t wait to see what you do this year!
