It’s a quick post today, to let those of you who haven’t seen over on my Facebook page, that next week myself and AWIC (Awesome Women In Construction) will be co-hosting a Brisbane meet up event.

When my career began in construction, I was really lonely. I had no idea how or where to meet like minded women, because no one really understands us like a fellow tradie wife!

I’ve seen plenty of corporate type groups grow over the years, but have always felt there was a real lack of support for the tradie wives. We have our own set of issues that really do get lost on those who are not in a similar position in the industry.

Therefor when the opportunity came up to collaborate with AWIC to host a meet up, I was super keen to embrace this chance to meet with the tradie wives and tradie supporters who I know are craving that support and companionship as well.

I would love to meet those of you in a similar position and help to build a support network for all the women in our position. If you would like to join us, the details are as follows:
